Shareholder Update (JULY 1st)
Yes thanks to your support we are really on our way! The Doors will open to the general public on August 9th at 12.00PM. Thank you Gusto your hard work has turned our hopes into reality.
The Steering Committee would like to thank you for your generous support by buying shares to a value of £220,000 to date. This enabled us to qualify for Plunkett Grant and Keyfund loan of £100,000. We also received generous support from TARMAC, Lincoln Coopperative Society and Collingham Parish Council.
Share certificates have been issued and we will keep you informed of our progress. We have passed the SEIS limit of £150,000 on share purchases that will qualify, subject to HMRC regulations, for 50% investment tax relief. We are pleased to tell you that if you indicated that you wanted to apply for tax relief then your shares should qualify for this high rate of Tax Relief.
All future sales will qualify for EIS Tax relief at 30%. And that is still very good news. Raising £210,000 from share sales was just our opening target and the share offer is still open. Our final target is £350,000 and we will keep working hard to get there.
Shareholders who wish to claim the Tax Relief due on their investment PLEASE NOTE : After the Royal Oak has been trading for 4 months we will be able to apply to HMRC for the authorisation that will enable us to pass on to you the necessary documentation.
The Steering Committee.
